The Lewis County Sheriff's Office proudly congratulates the 6th grade D.A.R.E. graduates from Canton R-V and Highland Elementary for successfully completing the 10-week program. Throughout the course, students explored important topics including bullying, peer pressure, decision-making, and the dangers of drugs, alcohol, smoking, and vaping. They learned how these issues can affect their lives and how to make safe, responsible choices.

As part of the program, each student wrote an essay demonstrating what they learned. We're proud to say all the students put in tremendous effort and submitted outstanding work!

To celebrate their achievements, the graduates enjoyed a pizza party and received gifts as a reward for their dedication. We extend our sincere thanks to Casey's General Store in LaBelle, Johnnie's in Ewing, Primo's in Canton, and County Market Express in Lewistown for their generous pizza donations.

A special thank you goes out to the Lewis County C-1 School District, Canton R-V, and the 6th grade teachers for their support in bringing this important program to the students. Your partnership helps us make a lasting impact in our community.

Lastly, we are extremely grateful for and proud of Chief Deputy Jerrod Eisenberg for his continued dedication to the D.A.R.E. program and the students of the Canton and Highland School Districts. Thank you, Jerrod, for your commitment, leadership, and service to our community!
