Lewis County Prosecuting Attorney

The current Prosecuting Attorney for Lewis County is Chelsea L. Fellinger, who assumed her duties in 2023.

Mrs. Fellinger is a longtime resident of Lewis County and a proud graduate of Canton R-V High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Culver-Stockton College and later received her Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2017.

Mrs. Fellinger began her service to the citizens of Lewis County in 2018, when she was appointed as the Assistant Prosecuting Attorney under longtime Prosecuting Attorney Jules V. DeCoster. During that time, she gained extensive experience in criminal prosecution, case preparation, and courtroom proceedings.

The Lewis County Sheriff's Office looks forward to continuing its strong partnership with Mrs. Fellinger and the Prosecutor's Office in the ongoing pursuit of justice and public safety for all residents of Lewis County.
