Incident Background:

            Date of Incident:  June 27, 2025

            Location: La Grange, Missouri

            Time: NA

            Details: On June 27, 2025, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding an individual standing in the roadway and acting erratically near US Highway 61 in rural La Grange, Missouri.  Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with a male, later identified as Joshua T Knuffman of Quincy, Illinois.  Mr. Knuffman was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Lewis County Jail.

On June 27, 2025, Lewis County Prosecuting Attorney Chelsea Fellinger filed formal charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine, a class D Felony.

The Honorable Judge Corey Moon issued an arrest warrant setting the bond at $10,000 cash only.

Mr. Knuffman remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of the cash only bond.
